Cotswold Outdoor, a leading outdoor recreation retailer, has opened a brand new store in Horsham. The new store boasts a new design, and special features unique to the Horsham store, including a children’s play area.
As the store is located on the busy Horsham high street (rather than inside a shopping centre) Cotswold Outdoor needed to prevent dirt and moisture from entering the building on the soles of shoes; not only as a safety precaution, but also to protect their interior floor surface and maintenance budget.
The solution had to be rugged and high performance, to fit in with the aesthetic of the store, and to cope with the typically British weather. Cotswold Outdoor chose CS Helix Z1 & Z2 Entrance Matting Tiles.
Helix® is an interlocking entrance matting tile system made from recyclable UV resistant PVC/NBR compound, which scrapes off dirt, mud and initial moisture from the soles of feet at the entrance. The interior grade carpet inserts offer high drying and absorption performance to ensure minimal moisture is left on visitor’s feet, and safe navigation around the store.
