For a business such as a hotel, a door can contribute to the overall impression visitors form — ultimately impacting whether they decide to return for another stay or decide to recommend the hotel to friends.
That’s just one of the reasons door protection matters. Doors and door frames are vulnerable to damage over time through constant use. Because of this, they often require periodic maintenance or replacement. Keeping doors in good shape can not only impact visitors’ perceptions of a building, it can also reduce maintenance costs.
For the Pullman Hotel in Homebush, near Sydney’s Olympic Park, the guest room doors were no longer living up to the rest of the hotel’s stylish image. Many of the laminate timber guest room doors showed damage and needed to be replaced.
As a solution, the Pullman Hotel turned to our Acrovyn door protection range. More than 200 doors in the hotel were covered using Acrovyn Door Protection in our one of our Acrovyn Faux wood finishes. These sheets lined the doors, providing impact protection and stopping any further damage from future use by hotel guests. With a range of solid colours and patterns available through the Acrovyn range, the Pullman was able to choose a look that integrated seamlessly with the hotel’s design.
Hotels are just one example of how the Acrovyn Door Protection range has been applied to keep doors looking and functioning like new. Our edge protectors, door knob protectors, kick/push plates, custom kick plates, door cladding, door latch protectors and door frame protectors are also ideal for commercial buildings, educational centres, hospitals and more.
